Excerpt; A sample from Al's column.

Dear Al I caught my husband of 11 years cheating on me with his 21 year old secretary. Now she's pregnant! We haven't been able to have children and he wants to keep the baby as ours. He said this is why he's been sleeping with her. (Yeah, right!) He said it's over and he still loves me. I do love him and I've always wanted a baby. What do you think? Tempted Dear Tempted, Amazing. Well I have to give your husband credit for being fast on his feet. Too bad he wasn't so quick to think things through before jumping in bed with Ms Bimbo. A woman who would sleep with another woman's husband is a bimbo. The best news I've heard so far is you have no kids with the philandering creep. Keeping this baby may not be as simple as you think. Mommy may decide after giving birth that she wants to keep her baby. Then what? I assure you it was about the sex, not the baby. I don't know any of the other circumstances of your relationship so I won't tell you what to do except to make two appointments for yourself. The first should be with an attorney to discuss both divorcing the creep and what it entails, and information about adopting the baby to see where that will take you. The second appointment should be with a marriage counselor who can help you sort your feelings. You could be letting the desire for children cloud your judgment. When you have sufficiently gathered all the facts you need you can make a choice of what the best course of action would be for you. Under the circumstances, what your husband did was cruel and insensitive. Rather than be a man and just admit he was a totally irresponsible jerk, he turned it around and made it an issue about a baby knowing how you felt. This way he can blame you if you throw his butt out. I bet she wouldn't have him either at this point. Al

Dear Boomer Al, My husband and I were married very young. I had two children by the time I was 21. Now I have four. My husband has decided we were married too young and he feels he missed out on things. I think he'd been stashing money from his construction business. Last month he finally left me and filed for divorce. I heard he is going to Russia to meet women in one of these brides for money programs. I'm devastated and discouraged. What do I do? Heartbroken Dear Boomer Al, I'm a healthy 46 year old male who works out and stays in shape. I have a good job and it pays well. The problem is my wife who is a year younger than me, is over-weight but puts me down for spending time on keeping myself in shape. I've invited her to come with me to the health club, on walks, bike rides, etc. She very seldom does, but still complains about being over-weight. Now she's angry with me because I was rewarded with a company car and I chose a sports car. She says I'm having mid-life crisis! What do you think? We both enjoy your column a great deal.
